Fire Service, Civil Defence, Others Set Date for Computer-Based Recruitment Test
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that a computer-based test (CBT) will soon be conducted for shortlisted applicants in its ongoing recruitment exercise.
In a public notice shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, the Board expressed appreciation to Nigerians for their patience and assured applicants that preparations for the next stage of the process are well underway.
According to the statement, the CBT will take place across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for candidates who successfully met the initial screening requirements. The test will serve as the next major phase in the recruitment of qualified Nigerians into the Fire Service, Civil Defence, Correctional Service, and Immigration Service.
The CDCFIB also stated that all applicants who previously applied for various positions into any of the four services should visit the Board’s official portal next week to check if they have been shortlisted to participate in the CBT, along with information about their designated test centres and time.
